“We are called to be women.  The fact that I am a woman does not make me a different kind of Christian, but the fact that I am a Christian does make me a different kind of woman.  For I have accepted God’s idea of me, and my whole life is an offering back to Him of all that I am and all that He wants me to be.” ~Elisabeth Elliot

I know that there are some out there who may believe that a blog’s focus should be narrow, well-defined, and strictly “spiritual” in nature…I am not one of them!  I prefer to view my life (and all that it entails!) as a comprehensive, unified whole.  In other words, I believe that God has called me, as a woman, to multiple responsibilities and roles (I am a Christian, a pastor’s wife, a mommy, a homemaker, a friend, a student, a teacher…and the list goes on).  My life is not neatly compartmentalized into the “sacred” and “secular”…and, neither is my blog.  While it may, at times, seem like a random assortment of pictures, updates, and thoughts…it’s not.  It’s life.  And, in Christ, I have been given an abundant life…

I love being a stay-at-home wife and (homeschooling) mommy, and believe that God has specifically called me to both.  So, on this blog, you will find pictures and family updates.  I met my husband, Jason, at The Master’s College (where I earned a degree in Christian Education).  We have been married for 7 years.  And, together we have one precious little girl – Hannah Elisabeth…  So, of course, there will be many posts about her antics and accomplishments!

But, I also love to read, study, and write.  And, I tend to be quite analytical…about everything.  So, this site also serves as an outlet for all that I am reading, pondering, studying, and learning…..  Everything from Scripture passages that I am studying, to books that I am reading, to my reflections on my personal pursuit of biblical womanhood – especially as it pertains to marriage, mommyhood, and modesty.

The title of this site is taken from a quote by my favorite author, Elisabeth Elliot:

“A quiet heart is content with what God gives.  It is enough.  All is grace.”

And that is my desire…to have “a quiet heart.”  To be obedient to His Word, and content in whatever roles, responsibilities, blessings, and trials that God, in His infinite wisdom, has seen fit to give me…Truly, it is enough.  All is grace.

By His Grace,

Veronica
